Courting the prize in Pakistan, India, China and the geopolitics of Iranian gas

While China’s rapidly growing demand for energy imports is well known, less attention is paid to another rising Asian giant: India. India’s energy needs are also soaring, and since many of its fossil fuel sources are identical to China’s, some might say that competition and even confl ict looms. How will they manage a vital future supplier – Iran – and a key potential transit country – Pakistan – and how might their interests intersect?
