Torsten Weber

Torsten Weber is a historian of modern East Asia and Principal Researcher at the German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ Tokyo), Japan. He has recently contributed two chapters on the Tokyo Olympics 1964 and the Phantom Olympics 1940 to the open-access publication Japan Through the Lens of the Tokyo Olympics (Routledge 2020).
