The 8th Asia-Europe Young Leaders Symposium (AEYLS)

From 29 November to 3 December 2004 the 8th Asia Europe Young Leaders Symposium, hosted by the International Institute for Asian Studies, the Asia Europe Foundation and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs took place in The Hague.

Some ninety young professionals with different backgrounds ranging from politics, business, academia, media, arts and civil society in general were brought together to discuss key issues in Asia-Europe relations. The Symposium consisted of keynote lectures and workshops sessions by internationally acknowledged experts.
